Jonny & Randee

I love weddings. They are such a happy time. My kids absolutely love them too. My older brother Jonny got married in April to Randee. They have two kids together, and my parents couldn't be happier that they finally tied the knot. They got married at a resort, and it was really beautiful. I am glad we were able to be a part of the fun. Congrats to them and their little family.

Ethan didn't want 'Mommy' to stand there
Thomas in his suit...I love my little man!
Sydney actually stole this bridesmaid bouquet. She just thought it was so beautiful.
We love our cousins. Sydney can't get enough of 'Baby Emma'. We don't get to see her too often so when she is around Sydney won't leave her side. They are just too cute together.

My brother Charlie actually made a video of the fun the kids have. It is on my Facebook account...so if you aren't my friend...then add me. :) The video is so adorable! Check it out!

Family Dinner

We lived in Mesa 6 years before we moved, and during that time we made some great friends. Obviously we can't invite everyone over (please no hurt feelings!), but we finally invited a few families over for dinner the other night. It gave us the chance to chat, check out our new place, and enjoy a yummy dinner with everyone contributing to the meal. We had such a good time that we will probably end up making this a regular event. Thanks for making the trek out to our house!

I really am so thankful for the wonderful friendships that I have with these families. Our kids always have so much fun together. Thanks for the great night, and the yummy food. I can't wait until next month!

Bummed

We are starting in the second day after the Superbowl...and I am still so bummed! I will be the first to tell you that I am not much of a sports fan. I never really pay attention to the game, but I love the social gathering that it brings. For once, I actually paid attention. We had Shawn's family over, and everyone brought something yummy!
Even though the Cardinal's lost, I was still proud at the effort that they gave. It was such an exciting game. We scared Thomas numerous times with all the screaming. The poor kid had no idea what was going on.

It has to be so hard for those players. I can't imagine being so close to something and not getting it. Hopefully next year will have a different outcome. Go Cardinals!!!

5 Before 5

Every Friday The Arizona State Fair has a deal. Entrance fee is only $5 if you enter before 5:00 pm on Friday's. Last minute, Shawn and I decided to take the family down for some fun. The food is overpriced, and so is the rides...but there is alot of stuff to do that is FREE. It is definately something that we enjoy going to every year.

While walking through some of the exhibits I walked past this and had to take a double take.

I can't believe that people actually pay for this sort of stuff.

The fair is open until November 2nd...go and have some fun!!!

Big Surf

Last week we were able to go to a company party at Big Surf. We had a great time. These kids really love swimming in the pool...especially Little Thomas. He was the happiest when he was in the water. Here are a some pictures of our fun day!

And the best part of swimming all day....

There is still one day left on my Auction for Nie Nie! Right now the tickets are at $500...which is wonderful, but I would LOVE it if we could generate a little more. It really is for a GREAT cause! Don't forget to spread the word! This family is wonderful, and need all the help they can get! Thanks!
